Hello and welcome to my blog, Breathe.

My name is Cath. I’m 26 years old, happily married and Mum to my little boy Harry, and our beloved rescue cat Wilson.

My passion for mental health is what encouraged me to begin my writing journey. I have suffered from anxiety pretty much all of my life but I only truly realised it when I reached my 20’s. Over the years I have accepted this part of me and finally found the courage to open up and speak to others about my experiences. I have also learnt coping strategies along the way which help to control my anxious mind. They have been so helpful in the darkest of times that I felt I needed to share with those also struggling. However, since Harry entered the World my anxiety has improved dramatically but I do still have my daily struggles.

Motherhood is also one of the most incredible, yet hardest times of my life. It is a continuous rollercoaster ride of ups and downs, but it is also the most rewarding. Therefore, I have used this blog to also document my new life and memories as a Mum.
